Riae is a female petite alt-model who was born and raised in Varese, Lombardy, Italy. She is one of the most famous and active models among Suicide Girls, based in Italy, and has gained over 2 million followers on her Instagram. Why Is She Called Riae?
She called herself Riae ten years ago, when she decided to join Suicide Girls website. Why did she call herself that? In an interview she said that when she was joining Suicide Girls, all the professional and experienced models advised her not to use her real name on websites or social media because nothing good comes put of it, and since she wasn’t really inspired at that particular moment and era she decided to use the first letter of her middle name, Elizabeth, and added it to her first name Ria. Riae didn’t change her name, because she loved the name her parents gave her. She believes her own name, Ria, is actually so beautiful and it is such a romantic name. Riae says her first name, Ria, in Gaelic means “came from the waves” and Riae believes that she is the girl who has cam from the waves and still is swimming among them.
